About this, I have been asked so many times in recent years. A patchbay extra for guitarists. A handy little helper for admirer of clarity and pedalboards that travel and play a lot of shows.
The patchbox is 100% passive. It does not require electricity.
Perfect signal separation. All channels are isolated and can not affect each other. Ground loops can not occur.
The housing is connected to the signal ground of channel 'IN'. This prevents the patchbox from causing noise due to RF interference.
Dimensions including sockets:
112 x 67 x 38 mm (length x width x height)
All five channels are identical and can be used with mono audio and control signals. The label should only be a rough guide.
Absolute unbreakable.
55 Euro
AUX = MONO
59 Euro
AUX = STEREO
This patchbox reduces the hooking-up effort to a minimum. There is only one point on the pedalboard for all cables from and to: guitar, amp, amp effect loop, amp foot switch...
Everything connects to the patch box. This is much faster and protects the jacks of the valuable effects, since there is no need to be constantly plugged in and out.
Manufactured with high-quality, durable connectors. The good reputation of Rean (a company of Neutrik AG) has given them a name in pro-audio equipment. They are extremely sturdy and stable. Installed in a 2mm thick cast aluminum housing.
The 'AUX' channel can be build in stereo. Good for amps with footswitch for channels and effects.
